Samsung galaxy y may get an update to ics officially by samsung so pleas try

My friend SGY currently on 2.3.6 gingerbread with NextToIcs rom ..
I checked my friend SGY firmware update , there's an official samsung update sized 11.23 mb ..
Tried to install it , but failed ..
Anyone successed updating ?
Is SGY got official 2.3.7 gingerbread or maybe ics from Samsung ?
